The festival opens on 26 June 2026 at GSC Mid Valley Megamall and runs through 5 July. The opening film is “Kungfu Junior’s”, with Hong Kong director Clifton Ko among the confirmed guests for opening activities. The choice of an accessible opening title also signals that organisers are aiming beyond a narrow industry crowd, positioning the event as something casual viewers can enter as easily as film professionals.
